**Dining Experience at Five Guys: A Mixed Bag** Five Guys boasts a reputation for juicy burgers and delicious fries, but experiences vary significantly by location. Customers report issues with slow service and missing ingredients, with some waiting over 30 minutes for simple orders. While many rave about the flavorful fries and customizable burgers, others express frustration over cold sides and substantial price hikes, questioning the value. The food was excellent, and the service was just as good. It’s the perfect place for a burger and fries!
Things can show up quickly, but at least the quality is there. The thing to know with each Five Guys is that if you order a 'burger' it is automatically a double unless you tell them that you want a 'small' that is their code for a 'single' Patty. If you can go before you know the types of toppings that you want, so you can help speed up your ordering process and not the type of customers who only stares empty on the menu and says, uh, and I will take some onions on it, no, wait a minute, make the sauteed onions, and umm katchup, and, ummm pickles, uhhhhh . . . Speaking of rags, I love bacon and love my burgers with bacon, but I have changed my mind when I ordered bacon from Five Guys, or some fast food burgers for this matter. What Five Guys and most other burgers do is that they roast the bacon deep to cook it. This destroys the bacon and its taste, as most places over the bacon with the method. It is only not worth the additional price for the bacon, because the taste and texture simply do not exist for the additional fee. Oh yes, I think that the frits are simply not cooked enough for my pleasure and I always like for 'extra well made' on the frits so that they finally crispy when I get them. Am I the only one who's cheated that they don't have any more coffee 'tastes? Maybe. I just ordered them, but I miss them.
Slow on preparation not the amount of fries as usual! Peanuts delicious!
Good food, prices and service! Great location to take the 80 bus too!
