Crosstown Barbeque - Springfield
Crosstown Barbeque
Description
Crosstown BBQ has received a mix of reviews from customers recently. While some have been disappointed with the overcooked and tough meat, outdated decor, and drive-thru issues, others have raved about the fantastic service, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere. The brisket and potato salad have been particularly praised, with one customer even hailing the ribs as the best they've ever had. The consistency of the food, especially the catfish and brisket, has been attributed to chef Chris, who has helped maintain the high standards of the establishment. Overall, Crosstown BBQ seems to be a popular choice for those craving good barbecue in Springfield, with potential for improvement in certain areas.

Tried this place for the first time today and the food is really amazing and the owner was super friendly
My husband had the big papa I think I had the Nana ... the minute we walked in we could smell the smoked meat and our bellies were screaming. Took us a bit to decide cuz there was multiple choices we wanted and couldn't decide. The food was great.. I LOVED the brisket the potato salad!! They were really nice and we had a great meal. We both remembered the old commercial but had never tried the food there.. but we're glad we did today while in Springfield. It's easy to see how they're celebrating so many years with good bbq like that. Highly recommend
Went here today for my birthday. Always wanted to go and glad I finally got the chance. Good food, super friendly folks. Steve even sang Happy Birthday to me. (He has the voice of an angel, btw) Totally made my day.
Food was spectacular. Folks serving us were very friendly. Superb BBQ aroma as soon as you walk in! My daughter said they were the best ribs she's had! Thanks Crosstown BBQ!
Really excellent and kind service. We are bbq connoisseurs, and this was pretty underwhelming. Got takeout, but went in to order because the drive through machine wasn’t working. It was taped up with duct tape and looked pretty disheveled. The inside of the building looks like it was straight out of the 70s when it was built.
