I had a pretty decent experience here. No wait, food serving were fairly large for the price. Service was okay, but overall I’d be willing to give this place another go.
Bertucci's restaurant is one of the most terrible experience that I had in a restaurant. Please, avoid a bad time and waste your money over there. I arrived 8:15pm, and the place is closing at 9:30pm. My wife and I ordered simple food: Bertucci's platter asstarter 4 chicken wings, 2 garlic bread, 2 meatball, 2 grilled cheese), 1 lasagna, and 1 chicken Parmigiano. The garlic breadwas not fresh made today, the consistency indicated it was made a day ago as sooner. The lasagna supposed made in a brick ovencame totally cold in the center. This issue happened when you change the brick oven by microwave. The waitress was so nice, andthat disaster was not her fault. She tried to fix the issue, and offered me a new lasagna whole the clock shows 9:00 pm. I saidplease don't, but she insisted. Well, there is the picture of the same plate that she brought. I guess the chef put more cheeseon top, and place into the brick oven until burn it. I never will back to that place where the only 2 good thing was de waitressservice and the salad for US$88.00 inc. Tip). Sadly, here is not option less than 1 star because they broke a record for badquality food.
The complimentary bread was delicious, and our waiter was very friendly; she even told us about the Tuesday pizza specials. All the food we ordered was tasty and was served quickly.
The worst Fettuccine Alfredo I've ever had. If you haven't tried it from here, I highly advise against experimenting. The pizza cheese is also unappetizing. However, the non-cheese dishes are good.
The food was outstanding, and when we were leaving, I asked to speak with the manager to express my appreciation for the wonderful experience my wife and I had. I met Bill Ross, the general manager, and he was such a great guy! I don’t usually write reviews unless I receive either exceptional or terrible service, but this was genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had at a chain restaurant in years. Great job, Bill! It's management like this that turns a good restaurant into an excellent one. I wish I could take Bill from Bertucci's and bring him to my restaurants on the West Coast! Keep up the fantastic work, Bill Ross, and I will definitely come back to see you every time I'm in town.
