What Chiili dislikes about Zengoni:
This is a huge restaurant with a huge parking lot. Perhaps it is set up for tourist bus but there were none when we were there. Just locals. We had an appetizer that was oven baked eggplant with sliced tomatoes, with mozzarella stacked with an olive oil and basil. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and this dish was fantastic. On our way from Ancona to Rome we stopped for lunch. We ordered two stakes and the food, service, place all were fabulous. Service was quick. The place has plenty of parking and rest rooms. Overall we had a great lunch at a reasonable price and good ambience aside the highway.
Nothing special. Nice setting, and the service was good. We had a salad and two tagliatelle della Casa and a glass of vino della Casa, 28 euros
I recommend eating in this restaurant, because you eat well, they wait for you very well, the prices are good and the service is very good and friendly.
We were a group of 32 and had made reservations the night before. One of our members had a birthday and they made a wonderful cake with a candle that lit up like a firework. The room was beautifully decorated. The food was very good. The restaurant had wonderful service and great wine. I will always use this restaurant for our trips to Italy.
We were attracted by the ample parking and the obvious popularity of the restaurant. This was our first taste of Umbrian food and was a real treat. My pork chop was delicious as was my husband's strips of beef. Both came with rosemary flavoured oven roasted potatoes which were delicious. The service was efficient and helpful and the staff were very friendly, despite being very busy. Overall a very good way to break a long drive
