We chose this place based on great reviews and that it was located fairly near our hotel. The menu is available online by using a QR code. Even though it was only in Italian, we were able to read it well enough to choose a nice bottle of local white wine and the Boscaiola pizza. The pizza was served on a rectangular platter with all six pieces arranged in a row. We immediately loved the crisp crust, and the pizza had plenty of toppings (cheese, sausage, mushrooms and truffles). We decided to also order a Nutella dessert pizza with chopped pistachios. It was the same size as the regular pizza and generously covered with the chocolate hazelnut spread. Delicious!
Had a very pleasant meal here. Started with a great board of locally sourced meats and cheeses followed by their specialty Roman pinsa, with a glass of wine and their own made amaro to top it all off. They’re new in Spoleto, family run and the talented young chef is only 19 years old! With the fork it’s an especially great deal too give it a shot!
Excellent dinner at this restaurant nestled in the historic center of Spoleto. The food is good and plentiful. The price is also excellent. The pinsa dough is exceptional, crispy and light. I was informed that the mozzarella fiordilatte is made with vegetable rennet, which is great news for vegetarians. The waiter was very helpful.
