I was happy to discover that a Rocket Bakery had opened in downtown, right next to the mall. It is located next to a bank, and the interior is cozy with a large table in the center and a few smaller tables on the side. The location is perfect for people-watching and studying. The barista was very friendly and helpful.
The coffee is fantastic and the atmosphere is trendy. I can't get enough of their pink cookies!
My experience at dos 12-14 with my family was not pleasant. When I tried to purchase a brownie for my child, the server refused to serve me because I had touched one of the pre-packaged brownies on display. This was unnecessary and rude. After ordering drinks, we waited for our lattes as the server chatted with her friend instead of attending to us. When I finally asked about our drinks, she acted as if I was inconveniencing her. No apologies were given for the delay. It is clear that this restaurant needs to improve their customer service and overall experience if they want to succeed.
They always do a fantastic job here, great coffee, reasonable prices and friendly service. Nicely done!
I honestly do not understand why people are so in love with this place. This coffee is horrible. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Their cinnamon rolls are the only reason I would go there.
