It was all delicious. Its owner, a man from Albania, was super nice. Of all the restaurants we have eaten in the 5 days we have been in London, this was where I enjoyed the most. The servings are huge. Thanks for the good food!!!

Food here is great but go hun... read more As a party of six we loved our first visit to Jack’s. Booking was easy and the holding deposit process was both fair and easy too. Food here is great but go hungry because portions are big. And.. spicy if you want them to be! The range of drinks whether beers, wines or spirits is plentiful. A quietly quirky and hidden away gem is this place, a great find. Good music, great atmosphere and fun and friendly service meant I can’t wait to return.

The food is good and the atmosphere is general... read more I have been to Jack's about three times as a eat-in lunchtime customer and have always had a pleasant experience. The food is good and the atmosphere is generally good. Service had been a bit slow but the last time was pretty bad. Waited over an hour for our order but nothing came despite asking staff several times. I told one of the usual waitresses (Emilina or Emerilina) who was extremely rude and said we were told it would be a long wait (not true) and after I pointed out a number of tables who had arrived after us and had been served, she refused to acknowledge this and said that everyone had been there before us (i.e. more than 1 and 1/4 hours, yeah right) but we should just leave or whatever we wanted to do. One of her colleagues was very apologetic but admitted that we should have been served or told that there was an issue. Last experience was not pleasant and I refuse to come back!

If only it was possible, i’d give this place five stars! there’s a lot i like about Jack‘s bar: one of only a few options in the area, this place knows what veg... read more If only it was possible, i’d give this place five stars! there’s a lot i like about Jack‘s bar: one of only a few options in the area, this place knows what vegan is about and even offers an own menu! choices sound excellent and my tacos definitely tasted amazing, too! very different from all tacos/mock meat things i’ve eaten before. very rich in taste! my friend loved her veggie burger (and she usually eats meat! . fries were seasoned and delicious! SERVICE WAS BRILLIANT!!!! the place has a great atmosphere, even seems a little upper class. definitely a great spot for a date night (whether it’s your partner or best friend : cocktails were excellent and as it was mid-week, they had a two for one offer! will definitely come again!

We went here because it was fairly close to the Tate not expecting too much. Make sure you ask for the vegan menu. It's a bar atmosphere for sure it was fairly loud with the customers and there was smoking on the patio (which is completely open to the restaurant). We got 1 of each taco, the burger and oregano fries. We were very happy with the food. A bit on the smaller side for portions but prices reflect that.
