We had a great time at this charming restaurant located behind Borough Market. We savored a delicious bottle of wine before heading to the cinema. The staff were warm and welcoming. The lunch menu was tempting and I plan on returning to try it out. The outdoor terrace was a nice touch as well. View all feedback.
What Christine Bayer doesn't like about Black And Blue Steakhouse:
Atmosphere is amazing, with jenga Mario kart at hand for all to play! The staff are lovely aswell but my goodness, the pub smells horrid and isn't very clean...drink opinions are simple , which is expected from a pub like this but the lack of cleanliness is the letdown unfortunately View all feedback.
Less than average. Average steak at best and not cooked to instruction. Terrible service surly and slow. Nespresso pods for coffee? I mean seriously, that is a joke. Would not come back for what was quite expensive considering what I received.
Nice location under the railway arches next to Borough Market. Menu offered good choice, would recommend the chicken wings starter. Steak was delicious though their chips could have been a little crisper. Service was very good. It wasn't cheap but steak never is. Would certainly go back.
We loved to eat in the beautiful dining room - recent renovations were fabulous. eating was above average after a show and we enjoyed some interesting cocktails. we found the service a bit curt, at the limit unwilling.
Good clean food.. Went for impromptu lunch Monday lunchtime-ish, was quiet inside. Service was perfectly acceptable, I had the ribeye, with peppercorn sauce, my friend had the lamb chops. Portion sizes were absolutely fine and the steak was cooked med-rare as requested. The fries were crunchy and plentiful. The salad with mustard dressing was a nice compliment to the steak and my friend was more than happy with her lamb! Peppercorn sauce was very fresh, and heavy on flavour... 7/10
Good Steakhouse. Its a nice modern restauarnt next to Bourough market, 2 minutes from London Bridge tube station. It was a mid week evening and the place was quite busy. Pretty decent menu and the steak was really good, cooked well, it went down like a treat! Service is ok but they could do more to make an effort. Its not too expensive, so if you are in the area give it a try...
