What User doesn't like about Watermill Inn Brewing Co.:
We came in after a walk with the dogs, sat in the room with lovely warm fire going.. the service was very friendly, my partner sat to enjoy all the traditional ales they had on offer that they brew themselves.. we then had a bite...to eat both had burgers, they weren’t too bad slightly over cooked for us but nothing to complain too much about.. we would go back. read moreNestled near Windermere, The Watermill offers a dog-friendly atmosphere and a charming outdoor space, making it a delightful stop. While many patrons praise the extensive menu and locally sourced ingredients, experiences vary. Some diners rave about the excellent steak and ale pie, while others critique dishes like the underwhelming spicy five bean chili. Service can be inconsistent, with reports of slow waits and unfriendly staff. However, the in-house brewed beers, known for their bold flavors and witty names, remain a highlight. Overall, The Watermill is worth a visit, though expectations may vary.
