Cedar Manor - South Lakeland

Cedar manor was the perfect choice for our stay exploring the lake district. it was in a central position in windermere and right next to a bus stop, as we decided not to have a car. it felt like staying in a luxury hotel without a super high price. the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was so comfortable with a beautiful whirlpool, small truffle waiting for us, and delicious tee and biscuits every day. there was also a cozy lounge with a bar to relax. overall it was the perfect stay and we can not wait back!

Excellent. from the moment we arrived jonathan and caroline really made us welcome. the bedrooms were immaculate with small extras that made all the difference. breakfast was excellent, with great choice. we also had the afternoon (which was by far the best afternoon ever) sat outside in the beautiful garden in the magnificent cumbrian sunshine. a fantastic couple nights away, which was the perfect end of my birthday week. Thank you.

This restaurant is a great spot for train travelers, with friendly staff who were very accommodating when we asked to leave our laundry with them. I highly recommend the afternoon tea, just make sure you don't go in too full!

Our stay at Cedar Manor exceeded all expectations. The Afternoon Tea was the best I've ever had, even surpassing our recent experience at Harrods. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance, the service was excellent, and the hosts were delightful. I highly recommend it.

Having read all the 5-star reviews, we decided to book a few nights at this property to celebrate our 1st anniversary. Our expectations were exceeded as Caroline and Jonathan made sure that we had everything we needed (and more) to make our stay one of a kind. We also had a delightful afternoon tea, which I highly recommend. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. We had breakfast every morning and we enjoyed everything they served with no exception. They do pay attention to every detail and accommodate everyone. We will certainly return as this was one of the most relaxing places we stayed at.
