What Joel Lee doesn't like about Fryertux:
Awful !! Chips are hard, the fish is watery and tasteless… my mum spat it out they were that hard. And couldn’t eat the fish because it wasn’t cooked properly…. View all feedback.
I dived with curry sauce for small chips. all were really smiling and friendly. the first time I try to eat from here, I will be definitiw back! the best chips of all time! thanks, youngs.
Here on the way through kendal in vacation. the chips were delicious. they thought the sausages I bought for my dog (he loved it! . the service was fast and very friendly. I would recommend it and definitely come back when I am in the opposite. also: I love the name! thank you. fryer tux.
My favourite fish and chips shop in Kendal I won't go anywhere else! The owners are warm and funny you can always have a good laugh and natter with them. The food is perfectly cooked and large portions.
Lunch on Friday 24 August 2018 We sat inside and ate off real plates as today is our Wedding Anniversary! Two large portions of fish (so lovely that I took two pieces home for Piggle and Athens in a napkin), two VERY large portions of chips, two large pots of mushy peas, one can of Pepsi and one pot of tea cost £16.70. We were very hungry and only just managed to finish it all off. We could hear the staff talking to the customers as they came in and the staff were happy and friendly to absolutely everyone. Full marks for food quality and customer service.
Popped in here after a long walk, had a refreshing cup of tea, and the best chips I've had in a long time. Finally, Kendal has a chippy worth going to and the owners were very pleasant and helpful. Please note, this chippy is under new management so I'd recommend you give it a go. We had the £1 cone of chips which brought back memories.
