Description

A vibrant fast-casual spot in Davis Square praised for gluten-free choices, standout dumplings, flavorful tacos and hearty rice bowls like the Orange Line chicken. Eco-friendly packaging and a glass-container trade-in add appeal for sustainable diners. Regulars applaud attentive service and quick pickup, though takeout experiences can be inconsistent: some report small portions, watery sauces, order errors, long waits and rare food-safety lapses. Overall, a convenient, health-minded neighborhood favorite with great gluten-free options and some room to tighten quality control.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant for the first time tonight, after considering it for a while. Unfortunately, I wasn’t very impressed with the food. I got a rice noodle dish, and it was a smaller portion than I expected for the price. Other BYO noodle and salad spots in Boston provide significantly larger servings for the same amount of money. The dish itself wasn’t terrible, but it lacked flavor and the sauce was quite watery. I also ordered sweet chili sauce as a garnish, but they added way too much of it.

All items are gluten-free. The service was quick, and the food was fresh and flavorful. There was an abundance of vegetables.

This restaurant typically offers excellent service and delicious food at a reasonable price, but today’s experience was disappointing. Although we ordered ahead, we still had to wait 30 minutes upon arrival. It took 45 minutes from placing our order to receiving our meals. The person taking our order was not wearing a mask, despite the restaurant's requirement for customers to wear them, and his demeanor was not friendly. To make matters worse, when we got home, my wife discovered a large piece of saran wrap in her food. It was quite unappetizing.

I?ve been wanting to try this place for a while now, finally had the chance today. It?s so hard to find decent gluten free options sometimes, this place is a real lifesaver. We tried a bunch of things and our favorite was the Orange line chicken withrice. Will definitely be back to get that again! And the dumplings of course (Just as good as Wangs dumplings I swear Whichare the real deal and if you can eat gluten get over there to get some of the leek dumplings ASAP, you won?t be disappointed. Weused to get a bag of frozen dumplings 50 for $13, not sure if they still sell those . I love that they have eco friendlypackaging and a deal where you can trade in a glass container. I always really appreciate this when restaurants follow throughfrom start to finish regarding environmental concerns. Looking forward to trying the tacos next time.
