Originally Saco’s Bowl Haven, this location now serves up delicious flatbread options cooked in an all-natural, wood-fired clay oven. They use sulfate-free, organic ingredients such as 100% organically grown wheat for the dough, nitrate-free pepperoni, free-range chicken, and organic toppings. Guests can choose from specialty flatbreads or create their own by selecting their preferred vegetables, cheeses, and meats. Finish off the meal with Sarah’s chocolate chip banana bread with warm homemade chocolate sauce, all-natural ice cream, freshly whipped cream, and maple syrup. Had a great time with grandkids and daughter. Ordered pizza while we bowled. Our first experience candlestick bowling. Daughter said it would be nice for a date night idea.
I visit this place every few months, and I'm always impressed by the combination of candlepin bowling and delicious pizza. The bowling alley maintains an elegant atmosphere with beautiful decor, tasty food, and minimal distractions from unnecessary gimmicks. Renting shoes is a breeze, and they do an excellent job of accommodating large groups and families.
I visited on a Sunday for a birthday celebration and had a great time with the candlepin bowling. However, the service experience could use some improvement. Two out of the three staff members I interacted with were aloof and not very helpful, which made it difficult to get guidance or answers to our questions. Despite that, I would still recommend this place.
Charming retro ambiance with a genuine seasonal menu featuring local ingredients. There are vegan options available, but the pepperoni pizza is a must-try!
Best flatbread pizza around. Tried both specials today, the pot pie and the veggie rainbow. The first was great and the second good. Very chill and friendly vibe. Parking lot nearby helps a lot
