**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag Experience**
Nestled in a vibrant setting, the restaurant offers a diverse menu that leaves patrons divided. While dishes like the catfish po’boy and hawg wings receive rave reviews for their flavor and quality, some diners express disappointment, especially vegetarians, who find limited options unfulfilling. Service experiences vary significantly; some patrons enjoyed warm and welcoming interactions, while others encountered rude hosts and disorganization at the front. Despite the culinary highs, the inconsistencies in service may overshadow the lively atmosphere. Overall, it seems that while food quality shines, the dining experience could benefit from a more attentive approach to customer service.

I observed the cook picking up food from the floor multiple times. I had a drink and then decided to leave. It was quite disappointing!
The pork in this place is out of this world. The hawg wings were so good we ordered them 3x in one meal then came back the next day for more. The ribs were out of control. I will be thinking about that jerk sauce for years to come. Definitely the best place to eat in the Village. The lava cake was a favorite too, as was the Mac and cheese.I should also mention that the service was amazing both visits. We have teenagers who were famished and thirsty I bet the boys each had 8 glasses of water and they never had to ask for more. After a busy day on the mountain this place was absolutely what my family needed to finish off some fantastic days.
We heard great things about the food and were excited to try this place. Unfortunately, the service at the hostess stand was horrible. We were told it would be about 30-45 min. We had checked in around 30 min as they told us to and again every fifteen minutes or so after. They were telling multiple people waiting that they were second in line. At 45-50 min, we were third in line. After waiting an hour and 15 min, we were still third in line. On top of all that, they had an attitude when we would check back. We understand it can get busy and would have been fine if they were more honest about the time, friendly, and paying attention to the list but seems like they were just seating who they wanted. We watched many other parties grow frustrated and go somewhere else.
The cook dropped food on the floor and picked it up putting it on the customers plate! Not just once in the time it took me to finish our drinks and leave.
