Taco Bell - Smithfield

I am giving this restaurant two stars because my experience was not very good. I had to wait in the drive-thru for 10 minutes with no one in front of me because no one was answering. I eventually drove around to see if I could go inside, but the lobby was closed except for online orders due to being short-staffed. I had to go back through the drive-thru and place my order at the window. The person taking my money was rude and did not say thank you or hello. I received the wrong order, but I didn't have a receipt because they didn't give me one. When I tried to address the issue, they did not fix it. Overall, this was the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. Dakota, who gave me my food, was the only redeeming factor because there were cars forming and he tried his best.

My favorite Taco Bell has nice and polite workers, good management, and the food is always prepared correctly. I highly recommend this Taco Bell.

I placed an online order and waited in line for over 35 minutes from the time I arrived until I left. The indoor seating was closed, so I had to wait in the drive-thru. When I received my frozen drink, it had been sitting in the sun, so the employee had to make me a new one. I also had to ask for a straw because one was not provided with my drink. Additionally, I realized I had no utensils once I started eating in the parking lot. I definitely did not want to wait in line again for a fork.

The Mexican food at this restaurant is affordable and tasty, but I wish they would remember to include the Diablo sauce that I always request. The take-out service is convenient for dinner and the prices are reasonable, typically between $1 and $10 per person. I would give the food a rating of 4, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 2.

This Taco Bell is lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful. The space is clean and well-maintained. The employees are diligent about wearing masks and maintaining social distance.
