I decided to try something a bit out of the ordinary with my order: a custom omelet and a Cortado, a rare find in most cafes. The experience exceeded my expectations on all fronts. First, let’s talk about the custom omelet. It was a delightful culinary experience! Java Bistro allows you to choose from a wide array of fresh ingredients, ensuring your omelet is exactly how you like it. I opted for a combination of spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and feta cheese. Each ingredient was fresh and flavorful, and the omelet was cooked to perfection. It was fluffy, with the right amount of gooey cheese and a perfect balance of textures and tastes. The side of toast was crispy and paired beautifully with the omelet. It's clear that the kitchen staff takes pride in their work, focusing on quality and presentation. Now, the Cortado – what a treat! This Spanish-origin coffee drink is not commonly found in many places, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it on the menu. A Cortado is essentially a shot of espresso cut with an equal amount of warm milk to reduce the acidity. The barista at Java Bistro nailed it.
