Consistently the best breakfast and coffee in Five Forks for going on 10-15 years. Eric and his wonderful staff have cemented this as a favorite go-to for locals in Simpsonville. These guys take pride of ownership in what they do.
Java Bistro at Five Forks in Simpsonville, SC, is a gem that I am thrilled to have discovered! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm, welcoming ambiance and the friendly, attentive staff. This place offers a perfect blend of cozy coffee shop vibes and a vibrant, community-centered atmosphere. I decided to try something a bit out of the ordinary with my order: a custom omelet and a Cortado, a rare find in most cafes. The experience exceeded my expectations on all fronts. First, let’s talk about the custom omelet. It was a delightful culinary experience! Java Bistro allows you to choose from a wide array of fresh ingredients, ensuring your omelet is exactly how you like it. I opted for a combination of spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and feta cheese. Each ingredient was fresh and flavorful, and the omelet was cooked to perfection. It was fluffy, with the right amount of gooey cheese and a perfect balance of textures and tastes. The side of toast was crispy and paired beautifully with the omelet. It's clear that the kitchen staff takes pride in their work, focusing on quality and presentation. Now, the Cortado – what a treat! This Spanish-origin coffee drink is not commonly found in many places, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it on the menu. A Cortado is essentially a shot of espresso cut with an equal amount of warm milk to reduce the acidity. The barista at Java Bistro nailed it. The espresso was rich and robust, without being overly bitter, and the milk was perfectly steamed to create a smooth, velvety texture. It was evident that the barista knew their craft well, as the drink was expertly balanced and served at the ideal temperature. This rare gem of a drink was the perfect complement to my meal. The service was another highlight of my visit. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed and checking in to ensure my meal was satisfactory. The atmosphere of Java Bistro is both relaxing and invigorating, with a mix of comfortable seating and a stylish, modern decor. It’s an excellent spot for catching up with friends, working on a laptop, or just enjoying some quiet time with a good book and a great cup of coffee. Overall, Java Bistro at Five Forks offers an exceptional dining experience. The combination of high-quality food, excellent coffee, and outstanding service makes it a must-visit spot in Simpsonville. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by Java Bistro. You won’t be disappointed!
Great coffee,Great Food,Great employees.I would highly recommend Java Bistro. They even have Bible verses on their coffee cups.
I love this place. Great food, great coffee, friendly staff. Their fries are AMAZING. I highly recommend this place.
It was my first time there. I'm not from the area so I wasn't sure where to go. I didn't want a crowded big chain or fast food. I just happened to be turning around in the shopping center parking lot and saw a few restaurants in a strip mall. Located on the end was a simple Cafe. That's the one that got my attention and I'm glad it did. The girl behind the counter, I don't recall her name, was just the sweetest person. She had a bubbly attitude and was very welcoming. I asked her what she would suggest for the first time and she said the deluxe chicken sandwich. I went with that. It was different. I'm not a huge fan of Honey mustard, and she made sure to tell me it was on there, but I'm interested in trying new things and something's over. If you're looking for a simple lunch with great customer service and a friendly atmosphere I would suggest giving this place a try.
Nestled in a charming locale, this restaurant has become a beloved spot for locals seeking friendly service and delicious food. Diners rave about their refreshing coffee and flavorful bagel sandwiches, with highlights like the tuna melt and Monte Cristo. While some have encountered service hiccups and concerns over food preparation, many appreciate the warm atmosphere and hospitable staff who go above and beyond. With an inviting setup ideal for catching up with friends or enjoying a peaceful meal, this establishment promises a delightful experience, making it worth a visit for breakfast or lunch.

This restaurant has delicious food! The pastries are amazing, especially the savory croissant breakfast sandwich. We also love the grilled blueberry muffin.
Stop for an afternoon Mochachino. Yum! The owner offers a varied lunch breakfast. Its sandwich creations are unique and delicious. The Club Croissant is amazing!
Best breakfast sandwiches in the game. If I could choose one meal for the rest of my life, it’d be the sausage egg and cheese breakfast croissant and a large mocha frappe. Game over.
The dining experience was fantastic, with a great atmosphere. This restaurant is perfect for a delicious breakfast or lunch, and the coffee is also excellent.

Service was absolutely wonderful, everyone was so nice and they worked very quickly. The loaded grits were good, could have used some salt in the grits but the toppings were delicious. The latte was great as well and the drive-through is so incrediblyconvenient! I'd definitely come back here to try more drinks and food!
The BEST muffins! Get it grilled. You won?t regret that decision. Their coffee is SPOT ON and the perfect temp every single time! ??
Had a 2 espresso shot mocha coffee a banana and a chicken salad bagel. The coffee was fine the bagle was fine however the chicken salad was more like a chunky soup. It was a mess. I was hungry but only finished half the bagel sandwich. Staff wasfriendly however between the food quality and coffee I would say it was overpriced.
Stopped by for an afternoon mochachino. Yum! The owner offers a varied lunch-breakfast menu. His sandwich creations are unique and delicious. The club croissant is amazing!
Food is subpar. Greasy spoon at best. Be ready to smell like griddle grease when you leave. Coffee is low grade. Won't be back.
