Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant, with a beautiful lakeside location, had mixed reviews about its service and food quality. Some patrons were disappointed by long waits, subpar service, and slightly overcooked dishes. However, others were pleasantly surprised by the positive changes in the renovated venue and enjoyed delicious wings and friendly service. Despite varying opinions on food quality, all reviews praised the scenic waterfront views and decent drink selections. Overall, it seems like a decent spot for casual dining with friends, especially if you're in the mood for wings and beer.
Went to this location because it is right on the water in a beautiful location. However the service here is absolutely horrible. Waited half an hour for our lunch, only to be told that they hadn't even started it yet, because the shrimp was thawing out. We had the worst waitress ever, had to ask twice for a menu, then proceeded to talk to the table behind us for a good twenty minutes, without even checking on us. I had to ask another waitress inside to check on our food. All in all, we left Hungary, but the manager did apologize to us and gave our drinks for free. Too bad, because it is in a beautiful location. Never again!
We came for a bachelor party of 20 guys. Sat for 2 hours to get food while one server served us and a buncha people including a useless manager stood around and watched. Seriously wtf. Get it together.
Visited Hooters, Barrie for lunch on Friday, June 9th. While the location is great everything else is not even close to a decent. Spider webs everywhere, cigarette buts on the floor between the cracks - photos available, food not edible, service lacking. May, our waitress, while very decorative, floated around the space being almost annoyed when disturbed for ordering the so called food. We had sliders....the size of the beef patty didn't exceed the size of a toonie while the bun was about four times the size and wings. The wings were at best frozen and reheated in a microwave...the thin part of the wing was ice cold while the other side was warm...Luke warm. When I went to the kitchen with it the first encounter was with a very rude person who explained to me that that's the way wings are supposed to be since the thin part doesn't have meet on it...eventually a friendlier figure appeared, the kitchen manager, however, with the same explanation...oh well...either frozen wings or uncooked chicken...disgusting! I have to acknowledge the fact that after we were done, a different gentleman came and gave us back the money for the wings, offered the money for the sliders as well but refused them since we ate the bad sliders as they were since we were hungry...the reason we were there in the first place, not really being interested into the moving decorum, the view of the lake being way more entertaining.
Not sure what happened to this restaurant, but it certainly has gone downhill. All the same fare, but slow service and a disgusting washroom. The Buffalo Chicken sandwich took 18 minutes on a Slow day? Never again.
We got a few things for delivery and it was all gross and disappointing. We paid the extra $3.50 to make the fries into a poutine and literally got a half full 2 ounce sauce container with some melted cheese and a 3 & 1/4 ounce container half full of gravy... The boneless wings were dripping in grease and had almost no sauce on them. They were super salty. Fiance had a burger and the bun was soaked in grease. Like, the top of the bun. Why? I seriously would never go here or order food again.
