This restaurant/bar has a convenient location on the River by the Ponta Romano with parking outside. There is a lot of seafood on the menu but it has a wide range of meals and snacks. The man inside the restaurant was lovely with our toddling grand daughter but the waiter who served the food tobus outside was less so. Walking inside it looked very atmospheric with a good bar.

They can’t even deliver a burger ! Four guys , January lunch, sat outside. We waited for an age before the waiter took our order (basically 4X burgers and soft drinks. Then waited almost 50mins for the food! Apparently, the connection between the bar and the kitchen broke (imagine my surprise) When the food did arrive (Boss burger) they looked anaemic and unappealing. I left 75% of mine. No grill marks and possibly cooked by sous-vide process. Basically this place needs to “get a grip”. Typical Portuguese inefficiency and laziness evident here. Avoid.

A beautiful restaurant inside and lovely shaded area outside. Friendly and helpful service from Sacha. Food was fantastic would have stayed for longer but we had to catch a bus back to our resort. Would definitely go back!

Better to avoid it. Looks good on the outside. Nice eclectic decor. But took 22 minutes to receive our drinks. Grumpy staff member. I know it’s COVID times but that’s no excuse to provide miserable service. Plus the ladies toilet seems to be permanently locked! With no alternative that I could find. Very weird.

Located across the Rio Arade, a few steps from the Roman bridge, is this cool place which I thought had lovely interior decor... antigues, interesting pictures, lots of wooden pieces were nicely situated throughout. I had hoped to get a big dinner but they only had sandwiches. I went with a double burger with fries. It was cooked well. I asked for piripiri and ketchup and one of the employees brought three types to me. I chose the medium-hot sauce and that kicked things up a bit. The fries were crisp and salted properly. Satisfied customer here.
