We w... read more We stopped at this restaurant while traveling to Arkansas. Since there weren't many options along the highway, we were the first to show up on Google Maps. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. We particularly enjoyed the salsa; it had a fantastic flavor with just the right amount of spice—not too hot, so you won’t be crying! I ordered the Arrachera Bistek, which I found to be very good. We also tried the special of the day, and it was excellent as well. The standout was definitely the salsa. I would likely stop by again if we pass through that way.

I was passing through and decided to check out this spot instead of going to Cabela's as I initially planned. Locals in the area advised me to skip the more popular choice and try the Mexican restaurant instead, and I'm really glad I took their recommendation. It was clear that this place has a lot of regulars, and it's easy to see why. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was fantastic—everyone was so cheerful. Sometimes, a restaurant's charm doesn't come from its decor but from how comfortable it makes you feel, and this place definitely delivered on that front.

Fortunately, my husband is a truck driver and I ride along with him. Now every time we pass through, we'll be stopping and parking at Cabela's and walking across the street to eat here! By the way, they make their sopapillas just right!
