Dude's Steakhouse
Description
Dude’s Steakhouse blends nostalgic charm with hearty, classic American fare, earning loyal fans for its generous portions and home-cooked flavors. Known for standout steaks and reasonable prices reminiscent of a bygone era, it remains a staple for locals seeking unpretentious dining. While many praise the warm, friendly staff and inviting atmosphere, others note inconsistencies in service and food quality, citing issues like toughness in steaks and occasional rudeness. The building’s dated decor contrasts with the hearty, no-frills meals served. Overall, it appeals to those craving traditional, filling meals on a budget, though experiences vary widely.

The steak was average and not seasoned to my taste. I could have prepared a better one at home. However, the French onion soup was excellent. I've had the steak here twice, and both times I was left disappointed. It's also not very affordable.
If you gave me a redwing work boot it would have been more tender. The waitress was rude to say the least. I got the largest porterhouse at almost $50 and ordered it medium rare. It came out closer to well done. If I ever eat there again I would ask for a chainsaw to cut that tough steak. Wife got stuffed shrimp. $30. They looked like they came from Wal-Mart. They did not make them in house. This place is trash. Usually small towns are the best. Left 18 oz of steak and two shrimp (of 4) on the table. Locals may love this place. We could have done better at home. Don't waste your time or money.
$50 steak and tables two feet away from the bathrooms and servers area. Please someone open a better steak house
