Buffalo Point - Sidney
Buffalo Point
Description
Buffalo Point Restaurant in Sidney offers a mixed dining experience. While some praise its diverse menu, including standout prime rib and chicken fried steak, along with attentive service and an inviting atmosphere, others report inconsistencies. Several diners have experienced poorly cooked steaks, cold food, and subpar service, suggesting possible management changes may have impacted quality. Health concerns and billing issues have also been noted. Despite these critiques, many appreciate the wine selection, kid-friendly service, and ambiance. Overall, Buffalo Point remains a beloved local spot for some, but potential visitors should weigh recent reports carefully.
Feedback
I've been visiting this restaurant since it first opened, but I have to say that my most recent experience was disappointing. There was no one at the entrance to greet us, we didn’t receive any drink refills throughout the meal, and the food was served cold. Overall, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. I won’t be returning; instead, I’ll take my business to Dude's, where customer satisfaction has always been a top priority.
Buffalo Point has greatly improved since its change in ownership and management!
My husband and I dined here during our visit to town and chose the Valentine's Day special, which was a pound of crab. Unfortunately, just three hours after our meal, I became extremely ill. When I called to inform the restaurant, I received no offer for a refund and not even an apology. I strongly advise you to save your money and opt for McDonald's instead. Additionally, while we were there, two other tables got up and left due to a lack of service. We thought we were fortunate that our food was remembered, but in hindsight, we both wished it had been forgotten.
Unfortunately, we repeated previous bad experiences. Our filets ordered medium done came to us **** rare. Seems a microwave finished them back in the kitchen. Got charged for what the waitress said was included: a loaded baked potato. The pinch of cheese and bits of bacon are not worth the extra $1.25 charged. With such high prices, one expects nothing but the best. Buffalo Point has failed us three times and we will not return.
