For me a 5 star rating has to be a flawless experience. The food at Torchio is fantastic and worthy of 4.5—5 stars. We ordered the Torchio Pasta which was phenomenal. We also ordered Giovanna's Bolognese in parmesan basket. The parmesan basket has potential but half of it was under cooked and chewy. Crispier would make this dish much better. Wonderful homemade pastas. Almost too many to chose from. Excellent, friendly service with craft cocktails and wine.
Amazing pasta, friendly and attentive service, and the kitchen goes above and beyond. The credit card fee, however nominal, is a strange addition to the bill. I've never seen a sit down restaurant charge a credit card fee without explicitly mentioning it. Feels a little cheap, but everything besides the fee was incredible.
Exceptional pasta with a staff that goes above and beyond by offering a warm, welcoming, and neighborhood vibe that makes you feel at home. The pasta menu offers endless exploration with each dish offering a new experience. Some of my favorites include the bucatini, campenelle, and the house named “Torchio”. I went here for dinner during the week with a small group. I ordered the Orecchiette, Spicy Sausage, Broccoli Rabe pasta dish and split a meatball and broccoli rabe appetizer. The pasta was delicious. Between my group, we tried three pasta entrees and they were all tasty. The noodles were cooked well and had an appropriate amount of bite. The sauces were full of flavor.
