Was Lonie Sawayn at Bear Trap Inn a mag?
Out of TN and on a tour of the Upper Peninsula, left Grand Marias hunting a breakfast as nothing available in this village. Forty or so miles west we came upon Bear Trap Inn which is a good sized cafe, surrounded by almost nothing. Very comfortable and friendly place. Ordered our usual OJ, eggs OM , bacon, link sausage, pancakes, toast, potatoes. WOW, what a meal. Not only delicious but we could taste the quality of... View all feedback.

What Trạch Bồ dislikes about Bear Trap Inn:
The service was good, but the food was only average. My partner and I had pasties that were made with commercial crust, filled with frozen chopped carrots, potatoes, and a small amount of meat. There was no rutabaga, no seasoning, and not even salt and pepper. The restaurant should consider removing this item from the menu if they aren't going to prepare it properly. View all feedback.

The food was delicious. I have chicken pliers. The service was decent, but good. And my experience was like any other restaurant.

Zero stars. This place was the worst place we experienced on our trip. The bartender, the owner's son, was a complete idiot. Never went into a facility...

I had one of their signature burgers cooked to perfection at medium rare, topped with an exquisite egg that was absolutely delightful. It's a charming little spot for enjoying a meal, drinks, or just hanging out near Chapel Rock. I will definitely be returning!

We were so satisfied with all menu options, huge portions and the service was fantastic! what a great stop along our journey through the pictured rocks!

Nestled in the remote Upper Peninsula, Bear Trap Inn offers a mixed bag of culinary experiences. While some patrons rave about the hearty breakfasts and quality comfort food, others lament overlong waits, lackluster flavors, and inconsistent service. Diners have praised dishes like the Trap Burger and breakfast staples for their flavor and generous portions, while others have criticized the restaurant’s pasties and overall meal execution. Despite charming ambiance and friendly staff, inconsistency in food quality and service has led many to suggest potential diners look elsewhere. Ultimately, Bear Trap Inn remains a work in progress in the culinary landscape.
