Was really awkward to walk in and no one was seating people until we almost seated ourselves, but they were on it with good service once we sat down. When our waitress finally approached us, she simply placed the menus on our messy, wet table without offering to clean it off—something we had to request. The menus were written in a quirky, informal style that didn’t clearly explain the meal options. After a long wait, our waitress returned to explain the menu, and we finally placed our orders. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, it was of poor quality, appearing to be cheap, pre-packaged items that had been deep-fried and served on low-quality buns, accompanied by overcooked French fries we couldn't even eat. Two members of our party ordered chicken sandwiches, which turned out to be only a quarter-inch thick and fried, despite expecting them to be grilled. Another guest requested their fish sandwich be cut in half, but the waitress insisted it was always served whole, and that’s exactly how it arrived. I ordered the grilled Reuben, but it was so messy and drenched in Thousand Island dressing that I couldn’t even pick it up without it slipping through my fingers. When I read other reviews, I can’t help but wonder if those people have ever had good food if they think highly of this place. I would never recommend the Dog Patch to anyone; in fact, I suggest steering clear of it entirely.

Two people in our party ordered chicken sandwiches, which were only about ¼ inch thick and tasted like they were supposed to be grilled but were actually fried. Another person requested that their fish sandwich be cut in half, and the waitress said it always comes that way, yet it arrived completely whole. I had the grilled Reuben, but it was so drenched in Thousand Island dressing that I could barely pick it up. I do wonder about the reviews others have given this place, as I can't imagine they have eaten at many good restaurants. I would never recommend Dog Patch to anyone, and I strongly advise others to stay as far away as possible.
