Ate here on a quick trip to Lerwick. Great service, excellent food and pleasant surroundings. Ribs were huge. Unlike other reviewers we found the staff very friendly and attentive. If you like Thai give it a try.

This is my favourite restaurant takeaway in Shetland. Food is always freshly cooked and full of flavour. Normally an Asian takeaway leaves you feeling bloated and unfulfilled. Not this one. The owner and staff are very friendly, it's always nice to test my badly spoken Thai which usually gets a laugh.

It's not really that easy to find an open restaurant in Lerwick even in summer, but it was a good thing we ended up at the Phu Siam on the first evening, because the food is really delicious. A big menu with all sorts of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes to choose from, a big choice of wine to go with it, and the service is enormously friendly. We went there again the next evening, of course!
