Kiln - Shetland Islands

Two months ago, I visited and my partner here. that should die. amazing! beautiful. it was great. I went for a smoke and my partner stood with his hand in the corner of the table, because the upper part, which comes from the basic, into the side window and all the table contents shattered on the floor. I also opened this place. they said and he even stayed to help clean up. I paid bill and went out of embarrassment and also confused why this happened. the next day my partner went in for coffee to apologize and everything was good. new year eve, my partner came back for a break and we went in just to be rejected to book a table and the owner said no. then he became verbal abusive and said that I have to flip for the hole in the wall, caused by his plank a plate of a table on the top, which without being secured. The kiln recently changed the hands and had an extensive makeover. it was rebranded as kb. the old descent on the storable was converted into a beautiful restaurant. the kitchen is operated by one of the top kitchens of shetland. the menu is a good quality...Pub dug, fish and chips, homemede burger etc. there is a good choice of beer and spirituosen. our eating was a little slow, but it was worth waiting. the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The restaurant offers delicious food, excellent service, and a breathtaking view of Scalloway Harbour. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The menu had a great variety of options and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant is easy to locate, not far from the Shetland Bus Memorial.

Dipped for late lunch. kiln bar the cafe was very recommended by native and was not disappointed. good honest eating, not too expensive, clean and excellent service. we had a cheeseburger, macaroni cheese and chips and chicken strips and chips. all cooked fresh. many to shame a chain restaurant!

We visited mid morning for a late breakfast, which was served very quickly by the friendly staff. The café was clean and tidy, and we enjoyed our breakfast (one bacon roll, one sassermaet roll both very tasty with excellent tea) whilst taking in...lovely views over Scalloway harbour to the castle.
