The menu is the sa... read more This restaurant is not as good as I remembered. I used to enjoy the meals here in the past, but it seems like it is under new management now. The menu is the same, but the food quality has definitely declined. Sadly, the food we ordered was not pleasant and left us feeling unwell the next day. The dishes seemed to be lacking in flavor and quality. I remember a dish called Marie-Mont-Starter that used to be delicious, but now the shrimp seemed small and bland. It's a shame that the food did not live up to my expectations.

My partner had garlic bread, which seemed to be just a store-bought pizza base and didn't taste homemade. My main course, chicken Diane, had overcooked meat, a watery sauce, frozen fries, and a small side salad, not worth the £15 price tag. The service was lacking, as empty jars were taken from our table without us asking for refills. Overall, this restaurant may be okay for a drunken meal, but otherwise, it falls short.

We arrive... read more I was disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. I had been here a few years ago and had a good experience, but this time was not the same. We arrived early, around 7:30pm on a Saturday, and while the appetizers were good, the main dishes that my friend and I ordered were not enjoyable. We had to send them back to the kitchen and ended up ordering something else, which was just okay. The atmosphere was also affected by a loud and rowdy group celebrating a birthday who seemed to have come straight from the nearby pub. Despite the kind apology from the manager and the reduced bill, we couldn't wait to leave. It may be a while before I give this place another try.

Oh dear , oh dear , where to start ...............Lets start with the lone plus to this establishment, a decent if expensive selection of tequila................ and on to the food ...... quite Simply disgusting........my starter of nachos was to be fair a hard dish to make a mess of , but they made a good try of it ...tasteless guacamole, lacklustre sour cream and a sad stab at a salsa, my partners starter of ribs was a bland mess of a dish, lacking in substance, flavour or any particular reason for being whatsoever.But sadly the starters were just a warm up exercise for some of the worst examples of restaurant cooking i have ever experienced ...My main of Pollo Mexi Loco consisted of a bedraggled chicken breast swimming in a lurid red leicester cheeseesque sauce that featured the kind of cloying blandness redolent of day old pre packed sandwiches found on garage forecourts. The chicken and the sauce had obviously never been introduced and had taken an instant dislike to each other (they both have my sympathy). my partners Chimi changa was rock solid pillow of nastiness, surely anywhere that claims a grain of Mexican-ness should be able to make a decent chilli con carne ...obviously not.Viva tequila is what it is , which is fair enough if like the rest of the clientele you appear to be on a apocolyptic hen night from hell.......but to charge upwards of for main courses of such jaw dropping awfulness ...really takes the biscotta..
