My partner had garlic bread, which seemed to be just a store-bought pizza base and didn't taste homemade. My main course, chicken Diane, had overcooked meat, a watery sauce, frozen fries, and a small side salad, not worth the £15 price tag. The service was lacking, as empty jars were taken from our table without us asking for refills. Overall, this restaurant may be okay for a drunken meal, but otherwise, it falls short.

We arrive... read more I was disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. I had been here a few years ago and had a good experience, but this time was not the same. We arrived early, around 7:30pm on a Saturday, and while the appetizers were good, the main dishes that my friend and I ordered were not enjoyable. We had to send them back to the kitchen and ended up ordering something else, which was just okay. The atmosphere was also affected by a loud and rowdy group celebrating a birthday who seemed to have come straight from the nearby pub. Despite the kind apology from the manager and the reduced bill, we couldn't wait to leave. It may be a while before I give this place another try.
