The Stag's Head - Sheffield

The university town for lunch here and was sadly disappointed, so many other restaurants nearby. the place was cold when the front or rear door was caught cold through the square, rugged winter garden and space felt dark and grubby. the server were helpful, but they did not save an average menu. that just eat ok, from 3 choices the steak and ale cake seemed best. I hear Sunday dinner is better, but I'm sorry I would skip it.

It just happened to this place and so glad we did. small menu pointed to good eating, but it exceeded our expectations. my chickenburger was quite excellent, chips were perfect in every sight and my man and stepspins looked even better than my own cake. To be honest, if it had been a must on my teller, I would have eaten it. please open their kind of pub in my neighborship in chester. Please!

Large freendly pub with one of the best selections or cask and keg beer. the personal and amazing and glued on the beer they serve. plus amazing discount on playage

Great eating, fantastic selection of ales, friendly staff and a really chilled atmosphere! the food came fast and was hot and obviously fresh! I can't get the pizza back, because the price is just brilliant. return to any event, want to try the Sunday roast!

Two of us had a great lunch, I had Ham Egg and Salad and it was perfect in every way, my work colleague had Pie, Chips Mushy peas and gravy and he was well happy too. 10/10 for food and service, Fay Her Team are the friendliest and nicest around. x
