Reviews praise The Doctor's Orders for warm staff, value and beer range but note inconsistent decor and occasional food hiccups; improvements under new management.

I was just walking past and came across this pub and decided to go in for a drink and Liv was so welcoming plus she was also happy and that made my day but even better she is amazing and I have never come across anyone as nice as here in the 100's of pubs I've been in and the landlord is also a very nice person. My new favourite pub.

The old 'West End ' was a fine pub. This is now a shadow of its former self, run down and neglected. Could do with a bit of investment. The staff were trying their best though and were very friendly.
