**Dining at Tapas Revolution: A Mixed Bag Experience**
Tapas Revolution, once a beloved haunt for tapas enthusiasts, recently encountered a wave of disappointing feedback. While some patrons praised the attentive staff and inviting atmosphere, many expressed dissatisfaction with the food quality, reporting dishes that were bland or poorly prepared. Complaints included congealed sauces and small portions, with several guests describing meals as reminiscent of reheated ready-made options rather than authentic tapas. Incidents of incorrect orders and food waste were also noted. Despite a tempting menu and decent prices, guests left feeling more frustrated than fulfilled, raising concerns about the establishment's consistency and culinary standards.

The waiter started clearing our plates while we were still eating, which was quite off-putting. We were charged £6 for just two rolls cut in half, and the £9 paella we received was the smallest I've ever encountered. To top it off, the albondigas were undercooked and pink. I definitely won't be returning anytime soon.
The food took nearly half an hour to arrive at our table, with only one or two dishes coming out at a time. By the time everything was served, most of it was cold, and the quality was very disappointing. Additionally, the kitchen overlooked my friend's main course, leaving her without any food while the rest of us reluctantly ate ours. The waiting staff were pleasant and kept assuring us that the food would arrive soon. They did offer to reduce our bill without us asking, recognizing our dissatisfaction with the experience. However, overall, I wouldn't recommend this place or return.
The food is good authentic Spanish tapas but it is in the pricey side. When we've been before there has been traditional Spanish music playing, which adds to the atmosphere but this time it was very loud banging music.
Lots of choices of different foods. Good prices. Arrived early but was plenty of tables so the staff accommodated us.
Ordered olives to start with, £4 for only 7 olives which were not very nice, came out of a very large jar. Mentioned to waiting staff who said they were Spanish olives. Wouldn’t order them again. My friend and I had the Canarian chicken skewers which were very nice but the accompanying potatoes were soft and soggy. Waiting staff were friendly and accommodating. One male member of staff who was either behind the bar or just walking around the restaurant area was wearing scruffy jeans with a large rip in the back and white trainers that were absolutely filthy. Not sure what position he held but he looked totally unprofessional. When we received the bill there was a 12.5% service charge added which we felt we should have been told about on asking for the bill. We did ask for this to be removed and we left a cash tip.
