Now that they’ve opened in my neighborhood, mana... read more I had heard about Pie95 Pizza when they used to visit my workplace, but never had the chance to try their food. Now that they’ve opened in my neighborhood, managed by an HOA, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to give them a shot. Unfortunately, when I approached the food truck, the owner greeted me with an unexpectedly rude attitude for no apparent reason (and others have mentioned similar experiences). I decided to walk away and find another place to eat. I don’t plan on coming back and intend to ask my HOA to prevent them from returning.

The pizza was disappointing—I mostly tasted burnt spots and it was overly salty, which masked the flavors of the ingredients. I wouldn’t recommend dining here, either at the restaurant or the food truck. The food from the truck was also below average, and the owner’s poor attitude made the overall experience unpleasant.

I've been following them on Instagram for years, so I had to give it a try! The owner, Evan, and his staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate about their food, which made for a fantastic experience. I'm excited to visit their new location when it opens on King Street!
