Damaskino Mediterranean Food - Sharpes

The food is so good. I had the Kifta Platter, and it was delicious. It tasted so much like what my Sitto used to make.The chicken shawarma was also amazing.Faudi* (Mike) made us feel so welcomed and comfortable, like special guests. He even offered to keep our leftovers refrigerated while we went to see a movie. We definitely will be back! Thank you!*I’m certain I spelled your name incorrectly. My apologies.

We saw the rating for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It was after lunch, so it was empty, but the take out was busy. I had lamb and my wife had chicken. Both were very good, and the sides were great. The service was relaxed, so this isn't fast food, but more a place to sit and enjoy an unhurried meal. The chef brought us lentil soup as we waited on our main meal. It was very good. It's not a fancy place, and the air conditioning isn't great, but the food was worth the wait. I would definitely go back, but on a cooler day.

This place like many other Middle-eastern food places is wonderful when it first opens. I understand there is inflation but prices for a chicken shawarma were around $7.40 now it's over $11.00. shwarwa is supposed to be a street food but this is really too much. Down the street at chick fila I can get fries, sandwich, and a drink still lower than that price. One good thing I must say is that unlike the other Middle Eastern places they didn't go down on quality of food or portions. I still go there but much less since it's gotten much more expensive.
