What green91 doesn't like about The White Hart:
We have enjoyed some excellent meals at this restaurant in the past, but our recent experience left much to be desired. The scallops starter lacked caramelization, the rotisserie chicken was dry, and the fillet steak ordered medium rare was overcooked, with barely a hint of pink in the middle. read moreAt the heart of the dining experience at the White Hart lies a tale of contrasts. While many patrons laud its warm ambiance and attentive service, praising dishes like the perfectly cooked scallops and succulent roasts, others express concerns over inconsistency, such as overcooked meats and lackluster attention during busy periods. Notably, the restaurant's commitment to customer feedback varies; some diners recount positive resolutions, while others feel dismissed. Nevertheless, its recent renovations and a friendly staff contribute to an overall inviting atmosphere, making it a recommended spot for casual dining and special celebrations alike. The White Hart remains a place to explore, but with a note of caution regarding food consistency.
