Captain's Table - Tandridge
Captain's Table
Description
Nestled in the heart of South London, Captain's Table has garnered a mix of responses from its patrons. While some diners laud the fish and chips for their freshness and quality, highlighting the friendly service and superior taste, others are disappointed by inconsistent cooking and underwhelming experiences. Many appreciate the generous portions and well-cooked chips, although there are several reports of flabby fries and cold savaloys. Overall, the combination of great flavor and warm customer service has earned Captain's Table a loyal following, though it may not be without its flaws. For sheer fish and chip enthusiasts, it remains a compelling choice.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food is consistently excellent. This restaurant is a valuable addition to the community.
Absolutely top notch cod ‘n’ chips tonight, 10/10 We are very fortunate to have such a great chippy here at Warlingham Green, thank you!
Never had a bad fish and chips from here. Small little shop which can get incredibly busy. Friendly chatty staff. Food always fried well. Lovely crisp but fluffy chips. Fish is always cooked well. I like how everything comes in a box and not just wrapped in polystyrene and paper. Sometimes it can be tricky looking for a parking space nearby but definitely worth trying if you've never been. Recommend!
Just eaten my first ever fish and chip supper from here. It was definitely worth it as it was easily near the best I have ever had; great batter, flaky cod, and freshly fried chips. Had to pay cash. Looked to have a steady flow of customers. Why not get a takeaway and eat it sat out on Warlingham Green?
