What a stunning shop and the owner is such a great guy, he was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The sausage rolls were fantastic and we also bought a beautiful glass Christmas tree as a gift. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

The two owners took... read more This was a delightful experience! We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea with delicious sandwiches, scones, and cakes, all served generously. The two owners took great care of us and were very accommodating, even though we had forgotten to mention our reservation was for afternoon tea. They went out of their way to make it a special experience for us, which we truly appreciated. This hidden gem definitely deserves high praise and we will definitely be returning. It surpassed the experience of many large hotels that lack charm and serve average food. This was a 5-star experience!

I unde... read more Booked in advance for lunch/afternoon tea. Arrived after an hour plus drive from home, as did my friend, to find they were shut and a note in the window. I understand due to train strikes staff were unable to come in and they couldn’t open but why didn’t they let those with bookings know?! Had my mobile number from when I made the booking via text. When I complained there was not even an offer to compensate for our wasted trip (free something next visit). Such a shame, as been trying to find a regular place to meet my friend half way and it looked lovely.

We were told about this restaurant and it did not let us down. We ordered the afternoon tea and every bite was delicious. The sandwiches were filled generously... read more We were told about this restaurant and it did not let us down. We ordered the afternoon tea and every bite was delicious. The sandwiches were filled generously with fresh bread, the scones were perfect and still warm, and the little cakes were all delicious. The service was fantastic, despite the busyness of the restaurant. We will definitely be returning to this lovely place.
