The portion sizes were good, but I would not recommend this place. The staff were friendly, although they could not apologize enough for the issues with the meal.

Visited in a party and was not impressed. the outer is lovely, but as soon as they get in, the drabness comes in. from the Drab reception zone we went down Drab... read more Visited in a party and was not impressed. the outer is lovely, but as soon as they get in, the drabness comes in. from the Drab reception zone we went down Drab corridors and through a Drab dance hall to get to the dining room and ask ourselves what we are coming. the room was not too bad and the tables were nicely laid, but eating was terrible. I never had such an evil Caesar salad barely salate, just a few limp leaves, hard, dry chicken, no crumb and a puppy bottle sauce. the “Roast-Turkey” was a few slices of something in a serious, and the sticky toffee pudding was just a square of sponge in a thin custard. a really depressing experience and the cook should be ashamed. we have no intention of going back there.
