Was Chelsea M at Oma Bap a mag?
We've had one really good experience from Oma Bap for takeout. We each did a customized bowl with the various toppings and all of the ingredients were fresh and flavorful and it was a really delicious, healthy and filling bowl. I would come back here again. The restaurant was clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. View all feedback.
What Lulu K dislikes about Oma Bap:
Not bad, but not amazing. Quick and semi healthy food. The place was nicely designed with and open feel concept. Ddeobokki- alright, not much flavor, but rice cake was a good consistency. Bibimbap- I liked the variety of veggies and meat, can't go wrong with this. The pineapple kimchi didn't blow me away. But I give creative points. Salmon bowl- I enjoyed this bowl surprisingly. The place gets warm with the open kitchen despite the ac and a crack window so might be better to sit outside or do to go.This is a place where you order and pay up front , then bring out the food and you bus your own tables. Table and water are in a corner. My fried said her fried rice was too salty. My fried chicken bowl with no rice was tasty so my review is a reflection of the food I got. The chicken was not soggy despite covered in sauceThe rice bowls that both of my friends got were steaming hot. They had to wait for it to cool down before eating.
Yummy KFC bowl for affordable price (after tax before tip is $14.3). Free self-service barley tea!
Solid. Wasn’t too keen on the chicken in the chicken bibimbap. Its tasty, but it’s a ground, spiced, chicken mash rather than strips. The fried chicken is very good. Potstickers average. Kimchee/pork pancake was greasy, but very good at the same time; loved the chewy texture. For the price, I’d definitely return. All in all, quite good, just not anything special enough to bump it up to 5 stars.
All I can say is WOW. The people here are incredible. I came in with my work team for a lunch have some serious food restrictions. I forgot to ask about sugar and was unable to enjoy the bowl I ordered… I insisted that another was needed and the owner made me a new bowl, omitting all of my food restrictions. I was beyond touched and impressed. Not only is the food here INCREDIBLE, every time I have come the people employed here are wonderful. I can’t express my appreciation enough. If more stars were available they would certainly deserve them!
