Food is pretty good and unassuming. The tonkatsu was a little too hard for me, probably because the meat slices were too thin. But overall a good experience.
The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of dishes, and while the quality is above average, it doesn't quite blow you away. The noodles are excellent, but the tonkatsu broth is somewhat too salty and lacks a strong pork flavor. Both the teriyaki and katsu chicken were on the dry side. On a positive note, the brown and white rice was cooked to absolute perfection, which was a highlight. The staff were wonderful and attentive!
I ordered the tofu teriyaki for 10.95, which came out of the kitchen in under 3 minutes and was absolutely delicious (great crispy skin with silky tofu inside). Would recommend!
This is a nice, clean restaurant. The food was quite tasty. The karaage chicken and chicken katsu were both enjoyable. However, the tonkotsu ramen with miso had a rather strong flavor. The service was good, especially considering the restaurant wasn't very busy. I would definitely return.
