Having lived here for over 25 years, this was the first time I... read more I ordered the market salad with salmon, which was listed as Copper River King Salmon on the menu. Having lived here for over 25 years, this was the first time I’d seen Copper River Salmon available in August. I requested the salmon to be undercooked with the dressing on the side, while my husband ordered duck with foie gras. When our dinners arrived, my salmon was overcooked, light in color, mushy, and possibly frozen—not the deep red hue I associate with Copper River Salmon. When I pointed this out, Shureal asked, "Oh, do you want me to take it back to the kitchen?" showing no real concern that my order was incorrect. Additionally, my husband’s foie gras was served cold. It seems they aren't invested in retaining repeat customers. This restaurant wasn't on our list of places to dine for many years, but we were encouraged to try it because someone recommended their moules frites. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. For those visiting our wonderful city, there are many high-quality, delightful restaurants in Seattle that are worth your time—don’t be lured in solely by a pretty patio.
