Reviews summary
This cozy little diner in the Capitol Hill area has captured the hearts of many with its delicious breakfast offerings and warm atmosphere. From the perfectly cooked French toast to generous portions of smoked salmon benedict, Glo's has left diners impressed. The staff at this neighborhood gem go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience, even quickly replacing burnt food and waving charges for any inconvenience. With a lively atmosphere and friendly service, it's no wonder why Glo's has become a go-to spot for breakfast lovers in Seattle. Plus, their spirit of giving back to the community by feeding the homeless adds an extra touch of humanity to this already beloved establishment. Whether you're a regular or just passing through, Glo's is definitely worth checking out for a fantastic breakfast experience.

Love, love and WOW! Breakfast is my favorite meal and nobody makes it worth going out to eat....except this place. DAYUM this place rocked. I would have gone every single morning just to taste everything on the menu but I had to leave. View all feedback.
What Sherly Herrera dislikes about Glo's:
I visited this restaurant twice, and while the food is not bad, it lacks flavor. Both times, I left feeling disappointed because I was expecting more vibrant and tasty dishes. The staff and atmosphere are pleasant, but for me, the food just didn't hit the mark. View all feedback.

The food and service were both outstanding. I really enjoyed the nostalgic atmosphere combined with a modern touch. I highly recommend this as a breakfast destination.
This restaurant remains one of the best choices in town for classic diner fare, including scrambles, pancakes, French toast, and especially their benedicts. The hash browns are also a standout. While prices have increased a bit compared to before, you can be sure you won’t leave feeling hungry.

The signature coffee cake is a must-order!! Taste soo good it’s our favorite. Other foods like beef infused hash, I don’t love it
During our trip back from Vancouver to Seattle, we decided to stop by Glo's new spot in Capitol Hill for brunch. We got there around 11 am and had to wait a whole hour for a table for two. Despite the long wait, we were excited to try out the food. The service started off a bit slow, but the servers were all really friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Glo's original scramble, which was delicious! It had a great flavor and wasn't too greasy. We opted for fresh fruit instead of hash browns, and the portions were huge! We ordered a biscuit on tbhe side which was delicious. The food here is definitely enough to share between two people. We also tried the French toast, which had been hyped up in the reviews, but it didn't quite live up to the expectations. It was good, but nothing extraordinary. We prefer our French toast to be crispy, and the flavors didn't really pop. Overall, we had a decent brunch experience at Glo's. It was worth trying out, but we probably wouldn't go out of our way to come

Hard to deny a well considered corn beef hash, with eggs over-easy, crispy hash browns with an easy middle, damn good black coffee, and a cozy environment that hearkens back to those 1940's 50's neighborhood diners where you'd get great service with actual people who liked their job. Just a great little place.
Had about a 30 minute wait on a Friday morning but it was certainly worth it. My friend from out of town had the smoked salmon benedict while I had the Aaron's Special. Portions were very generous! Despite how busy it was, the wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Proof of vaccination and masks are required, which only makes me love Glo's more.
Full disclosure, I LOVE breakfast food. My friend and I did a lot of googling research to find the perfect place for our first breakfast here in Seattle. And I feel like we selected a great spot! The atmosphere is lively and the staff was very friendly. Although it was basically a full dining area, we got a table and I ordered the breakfast 'B ' plate; French-Toast topped with fruits, choice of meat(I chose ham) and an egg any style! It says a lot about a place if they can 't do a simple breakfast. With mine being so simple, they executed it perfectly! Definitely coming back here with a few extra friends on my next trip to Seattle!
I have the privilege to start my New Year out with an incredible breakfast at glows with some good friends. Carrot treated as VIPs and the food was incredible! I hope I'll be back in 365 days to do it again. Come and check it out yourself.
