Was Scott Jurgens at Stoup Brewing a mag?
We had an event there for 25 people, and it was great. The signage was up when I got there, the service was good, and the price was affordable and in our budget. The space we had was outside and was partly covered, which was good since it was 95 degrees the day we were there. The beer and food truck was also solid. View all feedback.
What Jesse Harris dislikes about Stoup Brewing:
I visited a brewery for the first time in a while, and I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t fit the typical Seattle stereotype of an IPA enthusiast, but the service was not very welcoming. However, the beer itself was quite decent. View all feedback.

There were many dogs and some children present, just so you know. The seating was quite decent. However, there weren't many gluten-free options available. On the bright side, the selection of beers was excellent.

There is more to life than IPAs and gimmicky IBUs. I hope Stoup remembers that someday and will produce better beers.

If you love bustling crowds, chaos, and a lively atmosphere, this spot might be right up your alley! I sampled two strong beers: the imperial porter and the imperial stout. One of them had been bourbon barrel-aged—*sigh*. The porter was rather unremarkable, but the stout stood out for its boozy sweetness and balanced flavor. I’d give it 3 stars for a decent $10 12 oz pour and for the friendly bartender, who seemed a bit overwhelmed.
