I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible 13 years (and counting) of support you've provided for all our espresso coffee equipment needs. Your quick responses to my urgent requests and the occasional challenges that come with running our bustling three-story restaurant in Pike Place Market are greatly appreciated. I really appreciated your visit today to check on us, especially with the upcoming regular warranty service. Your presence gives me a lot of confidence as we gear up for another busy summer weekend filled with endless mochas, hot chocolates, and cappuccinos. You’re an incredible teacher, and your dedication to training our new staff in the proper foaming techniques is truly appreciated. Keeping my managers and me informed about potential issues in advance helps me avoid so much frustration. Time is money, unless, of course, you happen to have plenty of time to spare. Your professionalism has saved me a great deal of both, and I wish all my other service providers and vendors were equally reliable. Thanks again for the impromptu tune-up! It always brightens my day to see your friendly face walk through our doors. Cheers to you and your family! Mark and everyone here at Lowell’s
However, four weeks later, Anthony finally completed the repairs and claimed that he had used the full $300 estimate. When we received the machine, it was immediately exhibiting the same issues as before, along with a new problem of lacking pressure. Anthony kindly returned to look at it and confirmed that there was indeed no pressure. He suggested that this might be because he had left the machine on for too long. He took the machine back and returned it about two weeks later, explaining that he had initially ordered the wrong pump in an attempt to save money. After this, we received an additional invoice from Espresso Technologies for $122.20. I disputed this charge, to which Anthony replied that he didn’t want my payment and would turn the matter over to collections. From the time he first emailed me (February 7, 2016) to today (March 23, 2016), Anthony has claimed that our payment is 60-90 days overdue and has added over $90 in late fees to the unpaid invoice. I only offered to pay him the originally agreed amount of $300 for parts and labor related to the machine's repair. His attitude has been very unreasonable, and his tactics feel almost hostile.
