A charming cafe with a delightful patio, excellent service, and unbeatable prices. Step off the Othello Light Rail Link Station and enter this fantastic spot. The atmosphere is both distinctive and trendy. I savored the Pesto breakfast sandwich, a perfectly crafted cappuccino, the delicious artichoke blossoms, Mac and cheese, and engaging conversations.

Nestled near the Othello station, Cafe Red emerges as an inviting hub for coffee enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Patrons rave about the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, making it a perfect spot for spirited conversations over a cup of well-crafted coffee. Although some menu items, such as breakfast sandwiches and specialty coffees, have drawn mixed feedback for their pricing and portion sizes, the overall vibe remains upbeat. With its commitment to vegan offerings and community events, Cafe Red stands out as a beloved local gem, eagerly anticipated by both newcomers and returning visitors.
What a gem!!!! A great place to hang out, both inside as outside on their pretty patio in the back. Lots of space! Coffee is absolutely amazing, meticulously brewed and poured, the crew knows EVERYTHING about what they serve. We were lucky enough to meet the co-owner Jesiah, but missed Haley... The designs, the interior, the crew friendliness and knowledge, the quality of drinks AND the FULLY VEGAN menu would have made this my second living room in Seattle if I had only lived there.... Oh... They also sell stroopwafel!!!
Literally the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in my entire life. Don’t listen to the other reviews- go see for yourself. Amazing coffee, delicious food, wonderful atmosphere. The staff are so nice and welcoming.
Cute coffee house offering cool, air-conditioned areas to sit and sip coffee while chatting with a friend or alone at a small table. Space is small but well set up. The coffee is good (I ordered a cappuccino) and the staff are friendly. This cafe sits right next to the Othello station and some other shopping districts, making it a lively urban area. When I went here, the couple next to me were having a deep conversation about venture capitalism and the plight of the economy, or something. Definitely had some intellectual vibiness here that I assume is an influence of the nearby UW student areas.
The coffee is good albeit on the pricy side. I had the egg sandwich and found it very soggy and fishy tasting, don't know about the other food but my hopes aren't that high. Very nice aesthetic inside and on the back patio, definitely a place one could stay for a couple hours. Only a mildly pretentious hipster atmosphere from the batistas, they're almost kinda cool if you happen to be wearing normie work clothing and if youre dressed like a freak I'm sure you'd love it here.
