The food was amazing, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was very friendly. My husband is quite particular when it comes to BBQ, and he isn't easily impressed, but even he enjoyed what we had.

We brought in a stroller which the waitress seemed annoyed by, it definitely seemed like she'd just have preferred we left. She also was annoyed that we asked to split the check, which is a very basic request. The food is good but there are a lot of other great options on the same street so I'm not sure I'd come back again.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly

We could smell a savor... read more My coworker I decided to walk up find a restaurant to eat lunch. We walked along Ballard Ave NW and decide on which restaurant to eat at. We could smell a savory bbq flavor wafting in the air. By the time we reached Bitterroot BBQ, we had decided. We walked in. The person at the walkup was courteous helped us decide on our lunch. The dining area was clean with a nice ambiance. We chatted until our meals were delivered to our tables. The BBQ sandwiches were a tasty juicy smorgasbord of flavors. We both only ate half of our sandwiches. The other half of my sandwich was even tastier the next day.
