What a delightful dining experience! I brought my whole family here because we were all hungry. I was thrilled to be able to share a meal with my mother, something I rarely get to do as a celiac. The food was well-seasoned, with generous portions of meat and fish, and the waitress was friendly. Plus, the prices were reasonable. If I didn’t live several thousand kilometers away, I would be a frequent visitor!
We had dinner here about seven years ago, and when we returned to Sausalito, we knew we wanted to come back. We kicked off our meal with a White Sangria and a Margarita. The Margarita was lighter and less sweet than most, making it very refreshing. The White Sangria contained tequila, which wasn't my favorite, but if you enjoy tequila, you might like it. We shared chips, two kinds of salsa, and guacamole. The chips were excellent, and the salsa verde was packed with flavor. The dark salsa had a nice smoky chipotle taste. However, the guacamole could have used more seasoning. I ordered the Coconut Campechano, which featured scallops, shrimp, and flounder, and it came with chips as well. The coconut flavor was light and blended beautifully with the other ingredients. My friend tried the chicken tinga tacos; she wasn't a fan of the seasoning but still thought they were good. Overall, the service and location were fantastic!
Located in sausalito this Mexican place is a good option for a decent meal. Their drink menu seems to be bigger than their food menu(! .Portions are decent, service is fast, taste is good. Has limited outdoor seating, inside seems a lot cramped.
The tortilla soup was delicious and quite filling! They serve a generous portion of shredded chicken and tortilla strips. The guacamole tasted fresh with just a few additives, and the chips were thin, crispy, and downright addictive. I also tried the pork belly tacos, but I found them a bit dry. Overall, I definitely plan to return. The atmosphere is fantastic! The entire restaurant offers beautiful views of downtown. I highly recommend the cherry margarita!
