Food was good as always. Service was good except for drinks from the bar. Waitress checked back several times but we had finished eating by the time the second drinks were ready. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Earl's:
The dining experience was fantastic as always! However, the service was unusually slow, taking almost 10 minutes before someone came to our table. After finishing our meal, our plates were cleared, but I had to look for our server, and eventually, another server brought me a to-go box. We then waited quite a while for the bill. Our server was friendly, and I understand it was a busy night, but the service could have... View all feedback.
I really enjoy the new French waiter at this restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.
This is an old Saskatoon stand-by. When I visit the city (my hometown), I never think, "Let's go to Earl's!", but we met up with friends there last night. The food is modern and I enjoyed the shared appetizers. The sushi rolls were just okay, but the spinach dip was delicious. I ordered the Louisiana chicken sandwich, and it was also very tasty and all the components worked well together. The soup of the day was mushroom, and it was also very good, and clearly made in house. The cocktail prices were too high - a simple mojito was over $9 - uncool. The server was adequate, although a little scattered, but I chalked that up to it being a very busy night. If the price point was a bit lower, this would be a 4 star review.
Awesome food, awesome atmosphere, awesome service, awesome drinks. Try the bacon cheddar burger, you won't be disappointed!
I always have a great experience with my orders. I absolutely love the street corn with avocado dip, although I’m not a fan of cilantro, and they added it this time, which was disappointing. Overall, it was still delicious and of high quality!
I was a bit disappointed with my experience. I remember the Cajun Chicken Cheddar Sandwich being much tastier in the past; this time, the bun was unusually soft. The Truffle Fries were quite underwhelming, though the aioli was really good. I did enjoy the prawns in the small Caesar Salad, but the lettuce was roughly chopped and had some big pieces. Overall, I don't think it lived up to the price point. I recommend spending a little more (or about the same) and going to Cactus Club instead.
