Overrated and overpriced. I sampled three different types of donuts, and all of them tasted stale, which aligns with the comments from other reviewers. Coming from Vancouver, where we have fantastic donut shops like Cartems, I had higher hopes for Darkside. Sadly, they fell short of those expectations.
Delicious! While some might think the prices are a little steep, the donuts are enormous and truly worth it. They are exceptionally fresh and packed with flavor.
I had a disappointing experience with the service at the restaurant yesterday. The donuts are absolutely delicious, but sadly, the service doesn't live up to their quality. When I mentioned that I wanted to buy just two to sample, the staff member remarked that it would be expensive. I assured them that I was willing to pay for them. If I could rate the service lower than one star, I would, but the donuts are certainly worth a try.
This place is great for indulging in a treat, but I would give them a 0/10 for custom orders. I placed an order for a custom number donut six days in advance, and when I arrived on the scheduled day and time, my donut was missing. They kindly offered me some free donuts instead, which was nice, but it wasn't what I wanted or what I had paid for. I still haven't received a refund for the donut I never received. As a visitor from out of town, I specifically ordered ahead for a surprise party, so I'm extremely disappointed. To make matters worse, there was no manager or owner available to address my concerns, and a young employee was left to handle the situation. I will never order from here again and cannot recommend this place to anyone.
I truly enjoy exploring new experiences, and Dark Side Donuts exceeded my expectations! The donuts are amazing. I tried the pistachio raspberry donut and the blueberry cream cheese donut, and both were delightful. I highly recommend that everyone visit and give them a taste. Yum!
