Chef Express - Saskatoon

1) Dinner for 1 C ... the Spring Roll was good, a little greasy. The Pad Thai was unremarkable and the Curry Rice was bland. 2) Satay Beef Rice Noodle Soup: Tasted of grease and water. Mostly noodles. Hasn 't been within a hundred miles of a peanut, which is what Satay is supposed to be based on. 3) Chicken and Mushroom Fried Rice: I don 't know how you screw up Fried Rice, but Chef Express managed. A strange grey colour, tasted mostly of salt, although the peas, carrots and mushrooms were fresh and tasted they way they should if they were steamed. In summary, very bland food. For the first time in my life I threw the meal out almost uneaten, This order left me $36 poorer, but I actually ordered again from another restaurant, as I was still hungry. Possibly the worst restaurant cooked meal I have eve eaten. Sad, really.

The first time we ordered from here the food was really good but when we ordered this past Sunday we were very disappointed. When I arrived to pick it up the restaurant was dark. We used the Skip the Dishes app and even though we selected pick up, it was delivered. So while I was at the restaurant to pick it up they were at my door, thus my meal was cold. I will not be going back. The young lady who helped me track down my meal, seemed really confused and did not know what to do. Aside from the run around and poor service, the food was sub par. Two of the items we ordered were essentially the same with different meat.

We ordered late at night from here... I would skip it if you are considering. Definitely not the freshest Chinese food, super bready chicken balls, really greasy and the fried rice tasted really bad. The egg roll was soaked in grease and bright yellow. The only thing I could say good is that there is a good deal on crab Rangoon and it was good. Don't do it. You'll feel sick after.

Hands down the worst I have had in Saskatoon. The almond chicken had a pool of grease in the container and the chicken was stained a yellow colour from the food coloring in the batter. The batter had too much baking powder and was falling off the chicken/ The mushrooms in the Cantonese chow mein were black and spotted with brown spots, they were old. The noodles were supposed to be fried but where mush and not fried at all. It was a pick up and when I entered the restaurant it was so dirty I felt uncomfortable, Do not eat here

Our order was a mess. The server barely spoke English. We asked for a manager, none available. $153.60 WASTED ON LOUSY SERVICE AND TERRIBLE FOOD!!!! VERY DIRTY PLACE TOO!
